Our IB tutoring bundles range from £210 for 3 hours (Taster Bundle) to £5,250 for 100 hours (Ultimate Bundle). The more hours you purchase, the lower the per-hour rate, from £70/hour down to just £52.50/hour. Most students choose our Coursework Bundle (10 hours, £650) or Assessment Bundle (20 hours, £1,250).

Each bundle is dedicated to one subject, so your tutor can focus entirely on your goals. If you need support in multiple subjects, simply add a bundle for each - many students do this to cover both their HLs and key assessments like Extended Essay, IAs, and ToK.
Absolutely. You can purchase additional bundles at any time. If you'd like to continue with the same tutor, just let us know and we'll ensure continuity. Many students start with a smaller bundle and upgrade based on their experience.
Hours do not expire: they stay in your bundle until you use them, as set out in our terms. Unused hours can also be transferred to a sibling studying the IB.

We match students with tutors within 24 hours on weekdays, or within 48 hours on weekends and during peak exam periods. Matching speed can depend on subject and availability requirements, but most students are matched same-day.

Our First Session Guarantee means zero risk for you. If you're not satisfied with your first tutoring session for any reason, contact us within 24 hours and we'll either match you with a different tutor for free, or provide a full bundle refund. No questions asked, no hoops to jump through.
Simply email hello@ibdoctor.co.uk or submit a support request within 24 hours of your first session ending. Explain briefly why you weren't satisfied, and we'll process either a free tutor rematch or a full refund within 5 working days. We handle every case personally.
The First Session Guarantee specifically covers your first session. After that, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you're experiencing issues with your tutor at any point, contact us. We'll always try to find a solution, whether that's a rematch or credit for unused hours.
Yes. While we appreciate brief feedback to help us improve, you don't need to justify your decision. If you say you weren't satisfied, we'll honor the guarantee. We're confident in our tutors, which is why we can offer this. Very few students ever need to use it.
IB Tutoring Sessions & Scheduling
Once matched, you'll have access to a scheduling system where you can book sessions based on both your and your tutor's availability. Most students set up recurring weekly sessions, but you can also book ad-hoc sessions as needed.
Sessions are typically 1 hour, which is optimal for focused learning. You can book longer sessions (90 minutes or 2 hours) if needed. Your bundle hours are completely flexible. Some students prefer shorter, more frequent sessions; others prefer longer, intensive ones.
Rescheduling is easy. You can move or cancel a session up to 60 minutes before it starts and the hours go straight back into your bundle. Inside the last 60 minutes the session can no longer be cancelled through the platform and the hours are used, but we understand emergencies happen and handle those case-by-case.
Our tutors are based around the world, so we can accommodate students in virtually any timezone, from East Asia to the Americas. Let us know your timezone and availability in the onboarding form, and we'll match you with a tutor who works for your schedule.
Sessions are held via video call using a reliable online platform. Your tutor will use screen sharing, a digital whiteboard, and other interactive tools depending on the subject. You'll receive a link before each session and can access session recordings and notes afterward.
