Ex-IB student and National League 1 Hockey player now studying Theoretical Physics at Durham University. I struggled with Mathematics early on in the IB and had to build processes and frameworks to study and approach difficult problems, eventually achieving 42 with 777 in Maths AA, Physics and Chemistry. I focus on identifying any gaps in my tutees foundational knowledge and helping them develop a strong understanding of how their exam board wants them to view a topic. From here we build systems to approach these questions, so if faced with an unfamiliar problem we have an understanding of what we are being tested on and models to break down these questions.
