Worth knowing
- The page covers foreign school-leaving qualifications in general and does not mention the IB Diploma specifically.
- Depending on the degree program, acceptance offers come either through Hochschulstart or directly via Goethe-Campus.
- Applicants treated as equivalent to German nationals who apply for Medicine, Dentistry or Pharmacy receive their acceptance letter through the Hochschulstart portal. All other applicants receive offers through Goethe-Campus, which also provides online enrolment.
- Some applicants may need to attend a Preparatory School before they can start a degree; the page links to information on certificate recognition and the Preparatory School with its assessment test.
- Enrolment requires proof of health insurance, from either a German statutory insurer or an insurer in the applicant's home country.
