Study with the IB

🇩🇪Studying in Germany with the IB

Germany admits IB students through recognition rather than point offers: the IB Diploma is recognised as a university entrance qualification when it meets the KMK's subject, level and grade conditions, the result is converted to a German grade, and competitive (NC) courses are then ranked on that grade. With maths at Standard Level, entry is limited to subjects outside maths, science and engineering unless the school is on the KMK's list. Most universities route international certificates through uni-assist or a state recognition office, and German-taught degrees require certified language proof.
