Studying at Universität Stuttgart with the IB

Applications are submitted online through the C@MPUS application portal. There is no application fee.

• Foreign applicants to a German-taught degree programme must provide proof of German language ability.
• The language of instruction differs by programme and is stated on each programme's webpage.

• Applicants need a higher education entrance qualification (Hochschulzugangsberechtigung), meaning a school-leaving certificate that entitles them to study at the university.
• If a school qualification is not recognised as an entrance qualification, the Studienkolleg is offered as an alternative.
• Many Bachelor and Master programmes have additional subject-specific admission requirements, which are listed on the programme webpages together with the exact application periods.
• International students who are not nationals of an EU/EEA member state must pay tuition fees in Baden-Württemberg.
• Preparatory German courses can be taken directly at the University of Stuttgart.
• Applicants' documents and qualifications are checked during the application procedure.
